Coach Taylor Celebrates The Holiday

     Coach Taylor is pictured with Santa and Under Sheriff Larry Waldie at the recent holiday celebration at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department headquarters. Coach Taylor, a member of Sheriff Leroy Baca’s Executive Clergy Council, designed and facilitated the GOGI Campus pilot program at Century Regional Detention Facility, the county jail for detained women. The year-long pilot program proved to be an overwhelming and unprecedented success, with a recidivism rate of less than 5 percent among 125 participants. Getting Out By Going In is currently completing the design of the GOGI Campus program as a replicable model for all settings of incarceration.
